Our Client is a provider of disability support services across Melbourne, engaging genuine and friendly staff members across it's day centres and business solutions enterprises. With a culture of support and collaboration, every day as an accounts receivable officer you will be working to ensure the company's financial services is orderly in a team of approximately 4 others all reporting directly to the general manager!
What success in this position looks like:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues, monitor accounts email and make sure all the queries have been answered and required adjustments processed in a timely manner.
- Complete all account reconciliations assigned to this role on a regular basis, maintaining accurate records across multiple platforms.
- Investigate invoices on request by customers, monitor and analyse overdue debtor accounts
Essential:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Comprehensive understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Experience interpreting and work in accordance with all relevant standards, legislation, regulations. Ability to analyse, design, and modify systems for simplicity, efficiency, robustness, and business effectiveness. Develop and implement documented procedures related to accounting systems.
- Have strong business acumen, be an energetic and self-motivated individual
- Adherence with safe working procedures and follow OH&S directions
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
