Our client, has evolved over the past 30 years to become the industry leader in Commercial Plumbing. With a team of over 200 employees they are delivering Australia's largest projects. They strive to consistently deliver and manage Australia's largest plumbing projects with excellence. They have recently been appointed as the successful contractor for a Prison Project in Lara and are now seeking the following position.

About the role:

The role will be based on site in Lara where , the role will be full time. Hours of work can be any time from 6.30am -4.30pm with opportunity for flexibility. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader in a commercial plumbing company with an excellent reputation and a supportive management team. For the right person there is also the opportunity for this to go temp to perm and move onto other projects within the business.

Duties include:

  • Upload pressure test results and checklists into our system
  • Manage permits, Open/close with other services for sign off's
  • High risk permits due to high voltage energisation
  • Change SWMS to suit workface
  • Manage Client Safety Advisers for outcomes to suit organisation
  • Injury management and ambulance driver (BSC)
  • Manage work experience candidates
  • Site walks
  • Safety committee meetings
  • Covid management
  • Maintain relationships with HSR's
  • Subcontractor management
  • EIFY management Persons and Plant registration and update daily
  • Management of Crimcheck for CRPP
  • Site inductions for employees and subcontractors
  • Put out OHSE spot fires (daily basis)
  • Send relevant lifting equipment certs to client when requested
  • Organise site specific client training programs
  • Train/delegate tasks for admin assistant

Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma/Cert 4 level OHS qualification
  • Strong work Ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Current Victorian Driver's licence
  • Experience in similar construction environment
  • Australian Citizen
  • Police check

Benefits:

A salary will be offered to attract and retain the best candidate/s and will be based on the experience of the applicant. Approximate salary range - $80,000 - $120,000 + super.
