IPA are looking for a Parts Interpreter to assist our client in Gracemere.

An immediate start is available for the right person.

The successful applicants will be employed permanently with our client.

The role will be full time hours, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with customers to find out their needs and recommend appropriate parts
  • Identification of the make, model and variations of motor vehicles and automotive equipment
  • Investigating catalogues or computer databases to identify and locate the source of required parts
  • Ordering of parts from warehouse and external suppliers
  • Calculation of tax, discounts, and prices
  • Preparation of invoices for the sale of stock
  • Processing of transactions
  • Collection, packing and dispatch/delivery of ordered parts
  • Participation in stocktakes and updating computer data
  • Assisting customers in repairing or replacing parts
  • Set up of merchandise displays

Ideally you will possess the following:

  • The capability to interpret information with a comprehensive mechanical understanding
  • Solution focused with problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to promote company product and services to clients
  • Ability to communicate with your team and clients in a polite and professional manner
  • Capacity to work in a team environment and support team members
  • Time management and organisation skills

This role may require employee to work in other departments as required.

You will be required to have knowledge about a range of vehicles for this role.
