We are looking for an experienced IR or Payroll professional to join our team on an ongoing temporary/contractual basis. We would like to hear from applicants who looking for the next opportunity to grow and develop their skills.

About the role

  • EBA / EA interpretation
  • Create rate calculator worksheets for applicable Awards
  • Perform quarterly Better Off Overall tests (BOOT) reports on flat rates versus hours worked to mitigate risk
  • Assist with pricing reviews for client tenders and proposals
  • Provide the wider business with support on award and rate queries nationally
  • Management and coordination (in partnership with payroll) the yearly rate review / increase to align with CPI increase
  • Work with the P&C and Payroll to assist in remaining abreast of any changes to Awards
  • Provide business with advice and support on potential impacts to clients
  • Provide advice on legislative changes in consultation with the leadership team
About you

You may come from a payroll and/or IR/ER/HR background with experience in award, EBA and EA interpretation, award advisory and have an understanding of employment classifications and rates. Most importantly we are looking for an engaging and self motivated individual who may be between opportunities and/or considering a move, and are keen to work closely with our national branch network in all aspects of Award and Rate support and advice. Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work with a variety of key stakeholders, and deadline orientated are a must for this role.

Our senior P&C team are highly experienced in IR and ER related issues and will provide invaluable support to this role. You will however have the autonomy to manage your own workload in meeting the demands of the business. Salary and conditions negotiable pending your circumstances and experience.
