IPA currently have a requirement for experienced Maintenance Officers to work in a Detention Centre to assist with all Maintenance duties on-site.

You will be responsible for:

  • General maintenance/handyman duties around site; including rooms, pools, courtyards, etc.
  • Maintain on centre grounds and/or assets including reporting, auditing, identifying current and future needs, and maintaining systems.
You will be adequately trained in the following areas:

  • Protection actions
  • Radio operation
  • Code training
Requirements of the position:

  • Minimum 12 months maintenance experience **MUST**
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card **MUST** - applicants without this will not be considered.
  • Current Driver's License
  • Undertake and pass a clear Criminal History Check.
